ABA Discusses Law Firms’ Sandy Insurance Disputes

The ABA Journal recently published an article about how Sandy has impacted NYC law firms.  The brief article discusses their business interruption and related claims disputed by their insurers.  It is a reminder that Sandy has forced even sophisticated parties to grapple with the intricacies of their insurance coverage.  For instance, it chronicles one firm located on the 19th floor of 110 Wall Street. The firm was denied coverage on the ground that it sustained flood damage, which is excluded under the policy.
